Commissioned as an anniversary gift, this relief painting of Vibe Bar on Brick Lane was a special place for the couple as it was where they first met. I added special details like some graffittied initials and the gates and fence of the Truman Brewery were fashioned out of wire.
This relief art canvas was created by Georgina Smith in her studio in Brighton . Each artwork is built up of multiple layers of card, cut to create a 3D image, which is then drawn and painted. Her paintings centre on familiar buildings found in Brighton, with a focus on those that have a sense of faded seaside charm.
