Model Fish Fryer in Fiveways is referred to on local blog Ellie & Co as Brighton's Twin Peaks fish and chip shop. You can see why, with it's unusual roof and retro wood panelled walls (for more images, including the ace interior, check out her site Ellie&Co). I was drawn to its bold orange lettering and 1950's tiling which I applied using black vinyl.
This relief art canvas was created by Georgina Smith in her studio in Brighton . Each artwork is built up of multiple layers of card, cut to create a 3D image, which is then drawn and painted. Her paintings centre on familiar buildings found in Brighton, with a focus on those that have a sense of faded seaside charm.
